TAMIZDAT NOW AVAILABLE20 MARCH 2009As promised, the time has come for us to show our hand - Shoe Troupe's new album, Tamizdat, is now available for pre-order. You have three options to get your hot little hands on it: either alert us to the fact that you want to download it for absolultely free, and we'll tell you when you can do so; buy a standard CD in a totally normal jewel case; or buy a special edition CD, which is actually a booklet with which you can have fun interacting. AAAAAAND... TIME!2 MARCH 2009The calendar indicates that it's March (an assertion not necessarily reinforced by the weather, depending on your lion/lamb beliefs), and that means that yet another RPM Challenge has come to a close. Last year 00shoe Troupe met the Challenge; this year, they mastered it. The resulting album, Tamizdat, will be available for free download on March 24 (there will also be a physical release for just a few bucks). In the meantime, you can pick up the first single, "Pathogen" (also a free download!), in the Rev Store. Congratulations Troupe! |

HOLIDAY CHEERS18 DECEMBER 2008Imagine our surprise when Bryan Hamill dropped The Silver Screams' Christmas EP, Don't Bogart the Eggnog, on our desk and said "I finished this. Can we put it out before Christmas?" This happened yesterday. The Rev offices immediately sprang to life, and next thing you know we have fully prepared a digital release of the record just in time for the holidays! Don't Bogart the Eggnog is six original holiday tunes penned and played by Hamill, and is the perfect thing to get you in the spirit of the season. Roll over to our webstore for the download. ROAD WORK AHEAD22 OCTOBER 2008Please excuse our seeming absence from the Internet community over the past few months. We would like to assure you that, while you haven't heard about it, there has been a lot going on behind the scenes at the Rev. In addition to preparing for the release of three new albums over the next few months, we are also performing a massive overhaul on the little corner of the Web at which you currently find yourself. The first evidence: we've converted our Events page to a Google calendar, which will hopefully make things easier on you and certainly make things easier on us.
