| It's hard to peg the Silver Screams to a single sound, and this is not only intentional, but
the whole point. The new project by Bryan Hamill (of Coma, nee Zahnarzt, nee Amazing Plaid) was conceived as a way to lay
down the myriad songs he has had rattling around for the past few years. Not wanting to be restricted by genre definitions
or the expectations of others, Hamill slowly began recording anything that popped into his head. The results are predictably
warm and inviting, having been recorded with friends and carefully tweaked without the specter of a deadline or even any
specific end goal. All Summer In a Day is currently being mastered and will be available this winter. |
